MESSAGES
Send us a message and it will be posted here.
Given below are two conflated messages from Councillor David Skinner:
The next Westwood Ward Forum is due to take place on Tuesday 16 March 19.00-21.00 (7-9pm) at Westwood School , Mitchell Avenue, CV4 8DY. The agenda is available as a pdf file.
.
Agenda to be decided, but this is the last Forum before the City Council election on Thursday 6 May, and I anticipate a packed programme, including a reference to Hurst Farm.
The Police will be there, and there is always an Open Forum where any question can be asked.
It is, inter alia, a good opportunity to meet your 3 Ward Cllrs ( Marcus Lapsa , Nigel Lee ; David Skinner) personally. So please come if you possibly can.
A large number of residents have joined my update list in the last month. All very welcome, so I am sending this to explain that each of the 18 Wards in the City has a Forum every quarter.
I also remind residents that, if you would like advice on fire dangers and a smoke detector fitted in your home, please contact the Helpline on Freephone Tel No 0800 389 5525 and request a free Home Fire Safety Check from your local Fire Station. It could save you a great deal of anguish in future. My wife and I have, of course, had our house checked.
I can now confirm that;
A Mr Jim Newton, Principal Planner in the Coventry City Council, will give a talk on the HURST FARM building issue.
B Mrs Janet White, of the NHS, will give an update on the Hospital Foundation Trust proposal
These are important topics in their own right. Moreover, as this is the last Ward Forum before the City Council elections on Thursday 6 May, it will be a good chance to raise any issues you wish. Please come , and please tell other residents in our Ward, if you can.
If anyone else in our Ward would like to join in my update list, he/she is very welcome. I again confirm that, if/when I cease to be a Cllr at some future point, the entire list will be instantly deleted and NOT passed to anyone else.
